Christian Nationalism is not hiding anymore. It is writing the script and handing out the costumes. Project 2025 is not a policy plan, it is theocratic fan fiction with a budget. Thank you for calling it what it is while corporate media clutches its pearls and pretends this is all normal. We do not need more lukewarm thinkpieces. We need clarity, courage, and voices like yours holding the line
Stephanie McCrummen wrote a very good article on the highly radicalized Christian Nationalist terrorist in The Atlantic yesterday. She actually uses the word "radicalized" one time.
It isn't enough. It doesn't go far enough. We don't get more Americans to understand what a danger these people are by pussyfooting around and failing to call this what it is: radicalized Christian Nationalist extremists who are willing to commit domestic terror for the glory of God.
Do you think the sloppiness Trump’s cabinet member are treating our national security secrets and economic policy is their attempt to destroy the United States to bring about the end times? It sounds crazy but I cannot explain the poor decisions that are being made by the Trump administration. If so, this is treason.
Yes. I believe the Protestant/Dominionist Christian Nationalist faction believe the United States must fall for the rapture to happen and the End Times prophecies to come true. They read the Bible very literally (when it benefits their radicalized views.) Since the Bible doesn't mention the United States in End Times prophecies, many Christian Nationalists believe it must not exist. My pastor even talked about that when I was in that world. Radicalized Christian Nationalist extremists will literally vote to destroy their own country for their Bibles to come true. And people like Mike Huckabee will guide our foreign policy into disaster because "the Bible says" and "God told me to."
The theme of Christian persecution was a big part of my indoctrination. They are trained to see it everywhere. All the time. Writing this comment reply is persecution, as an example. Any disagreement, pushback, alternative interpretations of the Bible, or failure to go along is Christian persecution to them. I don't think a lot of Americans understand how radicalizing a sustained diet of that kind of information can be.

But I was happy to see it.

Thank you for your answer. This is scary.
It is. But at least more Americans are starting to talk about it and realize this kind of radicalization exists.
having been an evangelical Christian… we are taught that any negative talk about Christianity is persecution.
They believe they are always being persecuted that is what is preached Daly… And it’s a lie.
But boy, do they believe it !!
