I’m always grateful for every opportunity to advocate and educate. Part of my hopelessness today came from another failure. I pitched myself to someone I respect and asked to speak about a topic as an expert; and they sent out something that basically said, “These are who the real experts are.”
Those rejections never get easier, but I always get back up and keep going. Today, YOU gave me a reason to set that disappointment aside.
