From FEMA cuts to concentration camps, Project 2025 is here and it's terrible

Yesterday,

and I talked about what Republican politicians really mean when they offer prayers in the wake of disasters. Regular readers of this Substack may think topic is familiar ground, but it bears repeating.

Especially since Republicans are going to offer nothing but empty prayers for every conceivable horror in the coming months.

After briefly discussing the concentration camp in Florida, we talked about what Americans can do to insulate themselves and build community. I mentioned checking out the politics of each vendor you frequent at Goods Unite Us HERE. We also touched on digital privacy and security.

Finally, we did a quick rundown of what the phrase “the Dignity of Work” really means. Because as Republicans kick people off Medicaid and Medicare in the coming months, we’re going to hear a lot about the supposed “Dignity of Work:” Coded Christian Nationalist language that claims work is God’s plan for man because occupied bodies and minds are less likely to sin and cause God to judge a country.
